The month of January left. At last! He will think some or some. The Christmas celebrations are history and we have already left the first month of the year. Cold, cloudy skies, gray days ... a month that usually begins loaded with good intentions and illusion, but usually ends with the savings account at zero and with a certain taste of defeat for having succumbed to the power of the stove and the sofa.

Well, the good news is that we already have Don February here and that against the longing for those long hot days there is a solution, a solution that has a name. It is called Islands, and is called Canary Islands.

If you have children and you start missing a getaway to recharge batteries, then I propose a clear, simple and economical plan: Corralejo, Fuerteventura with children.

Last November, my family and I spent 10 fabulous days in Corralejo, a town that is located in the north of Fuerteventura, one of the 7 islands that make up the Canary archipelago.

After 4 hours of direct flight we were ready to spend a week and a half in a short sleeve and swimsuit. 25 degrees of temperature and a stunning sun They received us, and I immediately caught the message: Sergi, welcome, we will leave you as new.

At the exit of the airport we had 2 options, get on a bus and then connect with another and arrive at our hotel after a couple of hours carrying backpacks and others, or get on a taxi to drop us at the hotel door. I didn't think twice 30 minutes by taxi and 50 euros to get from Fuerteventura airport to Corralejo. A little more expensive than the bus trip but much more comfortable. Given that we are 4, the price difference is so exaggerated and, traveling with children, if you do not know I still tell you now, any extra comfort is small.
